WHY THIS TRAINING

More Than a Teacher Training

Understand the Practice

Go beyond poses and sequences. Understand why, how and when we teach, so your classes have purpose rather than simply following a formula.

Find Your Voice

Develop clear cueing, confidence and your own way of teaching — not a copy of somebody else.

Learn by Teaching

You will teach throughout the course, receive feedback and gradually build the skills and confidence to stand in front of a real class.

MEET YOUR TEACHERS

Your Core Teaching Faculty

The training is led by a small core faculty, with each teacher responsible for a key area of the programme.

Dr Yogi

Dr Yogi delivers the 30-hour Anatomy & Physiology component of the training through a specialist online course. IS THIS TRAINING FOR YOU?

Who This Training Is For

This training is designed for people who want to understand yoga more deeply, develop confidence and learn how to teach with knowledge, clarity and their own authentic voice.

  • You love yoga and want to understand it beyond the physical practice.
  • You are considering teaching and want a strong, practical foundation.
  • You are already teaching but want more confidence, structure and knowledge.
  • You want to develop your own voice rather than copy somebody else’s teaching style.
  • You value small-group learning, individual feedback and genuine teaching experience.
  • You want a training that combines serious study with community, personal development and real-world teaching skills.

You do not need to be able to perform advanced poses or have a “perfect” practice. You need curiosity, commitment and a willingness to learn.

A Training That Goes Beyond the Classroom

This training combines five weekends in Edinburgh with a two-week immersive experience in Valencia, giving you time not only to learn about yoga, but to live it, practise it and begin teaching it. The course brings together Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, teaching methodology, sequencing, anatomy, philosophy, meditation, pranayama and extensive practical teaching experience.

The Valencia Immersion

For two weeks we step away from everyday life and immerse ourselves in practice, study and community in Valencia. Days include yoga, meditation, pranayama, philosophy, teaching practice, feedback and time to integrate everything you are learning.

THE VALENCIA IMMERSION

Two Weeks to Live the Practice

From 10–24 March 2027, the training moves from Edinburgh to Valencia for a two-week immersive experience at Sanctuary La Esmeralda. This is where everything begins to come together.

Away from everyday routines, there is time to practise, study, teach, reflect and experience yoga as something more than a weekly class.

The immersion combines daily yoga, meditation and pranayama with teaching practice, philosophy, anatomy, methodology and time to integrate everything you have learned.
